This morning this video popped on my screen. So many people are affected by breast Cancer as well as other types. Are you aware that Avon is a huge supporter of awareness? We promote products all year long to help support this cause. I am creating a section of my blog for just this purpose.
Early detection of breast cancer saves lives. At Avon, they believe that no woman should die because she was in the dark about breast cancer. Yet too many women still aren’t aware of their risks and don’t know what signs to look for, or what to do and where to go if they have concerns.
In 2017, Avon conducted a global survey of 19,000 Avon Representatives in 15 countries on their knowledge of breast cancer risks and signs. The findings show there is a knowledge gap amongst women globally about what the symptoms are for breast cancer and how to lower the risk of developing the disease.
Is this not scary that so many people are unaware of the symptoms? I for one was educated a little more. I also am one of those people that avoid doctors. I am the person who is constantly saying “if it isn’t broke, don’t touch it.” Although, I do pay attention to my body. With the help of Avon, I will change this thinking!
